We’re a UK-based roller shutter company and we need a subcontract CAD technician to produce a technical DWG drawing for a roller shutter installation based on our measurements and specification.
This is not a “draft and hope” job — the key requirement is accuracy and getting it right first time, with a turnaround within 24 hours of receiving the info.
If this goes well, we have ongoing work for the right person.
What we will provide Shutter specification (type/model, operation, finish if needed)
What you will deliver (DWG + PDF) Please produce a clean, professional DWG (plus PDF export) showing the shutter arrangement with the key technical details included.
Drawing to include (as applicable): Opening width/height and key set-out dimensions Curtain size / curtain run (where relevant) Coil size (rolled curtain diameter / barrel/coil zone) Side room requirements End plates (type/position/size as required) Guides (type/size) and headbox/hood (if specified) Fixing face / between / behind, and any notes needed for install clarity Clear labels, sensible layers, and a title block with our project reference (we’ll provide wording)
Requirements (please read) Proven experience with roller shutters / industrial doors / metalwork / fabrication drawings Able to interpret measurements/specs and ask clarification questions before producing the DWG 24-hour turnaround from receiving complete information
Quality / Revisions We expect this to be correct first time. If revisions are required due to drawing errors, these should be completed promptly at no extra cost. If revisions are due to changed info from our side, we’ll agree any additional cost upfront.
