Freelance Script Strategist / Story Developer (Kids Series) ________________________________________ Overview We are looking for someone who can shape the entire storytelling direction, not just write scripts. ________________________________________ Responsibilities: • Develop character arcs, personalities, and relationships • Define overall story universe and tone • Create episode-level story ideas (20–40 episodes) • Write or guide scriptwriting (dialogues + scenes) • Ensure content is: o Engaging o Age-appropriate (4–12 yrs) o Emotionally relatable • Work closely with animator to ensure visual feasibility • Maintain consistency/variations (scenario based) across episodes ________________________________________ Requirements: • Experience in: o Kids storytelling / animation / short-form content • Strong understanding of: o Story structure (setup → conflict → resolution) o Humour and emotional beats for kids • Ability to think in series format (not just one-off scripts) ________________________________________ Good to Have: • Experience with platforms like: o YouTube Kids content o OTT storytelling formats • Background in children’s literature or animation writing • Understanding of viral kids’ content patterns ________________________________________ Engagement: • Freelance / Contract (3 months initially) • Payment: o Monthly OR o Contract • Onsite ________________________________________ To Apply: • Writing samples (preferably kids’ content) • Sample episode idea (optional but strong advantage) • Expected compensation
