Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We are looking for a technically gifted Microsoft Word expert to help convert a suite of our branded Word documents into a set of consistent, professional, and fully bespoke Word templates. The ideal freelancer will be able to:
Transform existing branded documents into high‑quality, reusable Word templates Ensure consistent styling, including headings, fonts, spacing, themes, colour palettes, tables, and page layouts Build templates that maintain brand integrity across all users and departments Configure templates so they can be shared, completed, and edited by multiple users without any loss of formatting or design Set up locked or restricted elements where needed (e.g., logo positions, headings, cover pages) Create intuitive, user‑friendly structures with placeholders, content controls, and predefined styles Optimise templates for use across the Microsoft 365 environment (Word desktop, browser, SharePoint, and Teams)
Skills & Experience Required Advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft Word template development (.dotx / .dotm) Strong understanding of styles, themes, building blocks, and content controls Ability to create brand‑consistent documents across a variety of formats (letters, reports, forms, assessments, guidance documents, etc.) Experience working with multi‑user environments where maintaining formatting is essential Exceptional attention to detail and a strong design sensibility Previous experience creating document libraries for organisations is highly advantageous
