We are looking for an experienced mobile app developer to help build a global, map-based app for the App Store.
The app will allow users to discover registered stores around the world that sell specific products. The core feature will be an interactive world map with pinned store locations, enabling users to browse stores based on their current location or planned travel destinations. In addition, the app will feature pinned events that are registered and promoted through the platform.
The business model will include: • A small subscription fee for users • Subscription or listing fees for stores • Annual sponsorship opportunities for brands to advertise within the app
This project is being developed alongside an existing company in the industry, and we are looking for someone who can contribute not only technically but also collaboratively. The role is for the right candidate who wants to help shape and grow the product long-term.
Ideal experience includes: • Mobile app development (iOS required; cross-platform experience a plus) • Map-based apps (e.g., Apple Maps, Google Maps, Mapbox) • User accounts, subscriptions, and payments • Scalable architecture and clean UI/UX implementation
