I’m looking for someone to help review, improve, and correct the categorisation of words in a spreadsheet. I have already done most of the initial categorisation work, but there will be inconsistencies, errors, and edge cases that need careful review. The task is to ensure that related words are grouped logically, consistently, and accurately across the entire spreadsheet (there are nearly 3000 lines of words with several categories belonging to each word).
This is a precision-focused data task that requires strong analytical thinking, categorisation/data coding skills, and attention to detail.
The task involves - Reviewing an existing spreadsheet of words - Improving and correcting how words are categorised/grouped - Ensuring consistency across similar or related terms - Identifying and fixing miscategorised items - Flagging unclear cases where categorisation may be ambiguous
There are nearly 3000 words, so this is a substantial but straightforward task for someone who is methodical and accurate with relevant experience.
This task is best suited for: - Someone with experience of categorising coding data/words who understands the rules of categorising and the best methods and tools. - Someone who is excellent at organising data and spotting inconsistencies. - Very high attention to detail and accuracy - Comfortable working independently with large spreadsheets - Patient and systematic - this is repetitive but requires thinking, not speed alone
