Project Overview I own two UK-based B2B businesses: A data cabling & network installation company (commercial clients + insurers) A managed IT support company (SMEs) We generate leads via PPC, organic search, and existing databases, but many prospects are not ready to buy immediately. I’m looking for an experienced MailChimp specialist to build, manage, and optimise long-term email nurture campaigns that keep leads warm and convert over time. This is ongoing monthly work, not a one-off newsletter task.
Scope of Work You will be responsible for 3 separate email nurture campaigns within one MailChimp account: 1️⃣ Data Cabling – Commercial Clients Leads from PPC, organic, and existing database Focus: education, authority, soft conversion 2️⃣ Data Cabling – Insurance / Loss Adjusters Niche B2B audience Focus: positioning, trust, inspection services 3️⃣ Managed IT Support (SMEs) Leads considering managed IT but not ready yet Focus: proactive IT, risk reduction, long-term value
Key Responsibilities Set up MailChimp audiences & segmentation Build automated customer journeys (welcome + long-term nurture) Create or refine email copy (B2B tone, not salesy) Design clean, professional templates (branding provided) Schedule and manage monthly nurture emails Monitor: Open rates Click-through rates Engagement trends Make ongoing improvements based on performance Ensure GDPR-friendly best practices
What I’m Looking For Essential Strong experience with MailChimp automations / journeys B2B email marketing experience Comfortable managing multiple audiences Good written English (UK market) Able to work independently and proactively Nice to Have Experience with: IT services MSPs Construction / cabling / technical services Light copywriting & positioning skills
What This Is NOT ❌ Not just “newsletter sending” ❌ Not social media marketing ❌ Not cold email spam ❌ Not design-only work If your main experience is sending promotional newsletters, this role won’t be a fit.
Budget Setup: Open to fixed-price proposal Ongoing management: (depends on experience) This is a long-term role for the right person.
