Project overview I am looking for an experienced WordPress web designer to refresh and improve the design of my existing website so it looks cleaner, more modern and more professional. The structure and content will mostly stay the same, but the overall layout, visuals and user experience need a clear uplift.
Goals Make the site look more polished and trustworthy, suitable for a professional/community-facing brand.
Improve readability, spacing and typography so pages are easier to scan and understand.
Ensure the design works smoothly on mobile and tablet, not just desktop.
Technical details Website is built on WordPress; ideally, you are very comfortable working with existing themes/builders rather than rebuilding from scratch.
The site must remain easy for a non-technical person to update (pages, text and images) after the redesign.
Basic performance and SEO-friendly practices are a plus (clean code, sensible heading structure, image optimisation).
