### About Localito Localito is a new UK-based online marketplace **exclusively for independent local retailers**. Customers browse, pay online, and collect in-store – no delivery fees, no big chains, just genuine high-street shops.
We are launching in early 2026 and need rapid, high-impact social media presence to: - Drive retailer sign-ups (target: 500+ in first 6 months) - Build shopper awareness and excitement around our 1% instant cashback loop - Create authentic community buzz around “shop local” "suppport your local business" and sustainability
Platforms to manage: Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn (B2B for retailer outreach).
### The Role – 1-Month Paid Trial We are offering a **paid 1-month trial** leading to a long-term retainer for the right person.
**Duration**: 4 weeks starting ASAP **Commitment**: Approximately 15 hours per week (part-time remote) **Compensation**: £600 fixed fee for the month (paid 50% deposit upfront, 50% on completion) **Location**: Fully remote – UK-based strongly preferred for time zone and cultural alignment
### Responsibilities During the Trial - Full day-to-day management of all Localito social channels (posting, stories, reels, threads, replies) - Create and execute a launch content calendar (mix of educational, entertaining, and promotional posts) - Produce or curate 20–30 pieces of content (graphics, short videos, carousels, UGC-style retailer spotlights) - Community engagement: respond to comments/DMs, build early follower interactions - Weekly reporting on reach, engagement, follower growth, and leads generated - Deliver a handover strategy document at month-end with recommendations for ongoing activity
### What We’re Looking For - Proven experience managing social media for e-commerce, retail, or startup brands (please share portfolio/case studies) - Strong visual storytelling skills – especially short-form video (Reels/TikTok) - Understanding of “shop local” / sustainability messaging - Comfortable creating content quickly (Canva, CapCut, in-app editing) - Data-driven: able to track and report meaningful metrics - Self-starter who can work autonomously but collaborates well - Bonus: experience with retailer recruitment campaigns or B2B social
### Why a Paid Trial? We want to see real results in a live environment before committing long-term. The successful candidate will almost certainly transition to an ongoing retainer as we scale.
