We are looking for an experienced React + Node.js developer to complete and refine an existing website build. The core website structure is already developed, but several items remain unfinished, most importantly, full mobile responsiveness, additional News page structures, and integration of a ticket-booking system.
You will be working from a detailed review document outlining all UI, UX, and functionality issues that must be fixed or completed.
Project Overview
Our website is built in:
React (Frontend)
Node.js (Backend)
While the core pages are in place, the site currently does not function properly on mobile devices, which is essential for our user base. A full responsive overhaul across all breakpoints is required.
Key Tasks Required 1. Mobile Responsiveness (Highest Priority)
Fix layout, spacing, alignment, hero sections, typography, and grid structures across all device sizes.
Resolve navigation, carousel, image cropping, and overlay issues.
Implement proper breakpoints for 1440px, 1024px, 768px, and 480px.
(All issues are clearly detailed in our review document.)
2. Ticket-Booking Integration
Design, develop and deploy the ticket-booking workflow allowing users to browse films and book cinema tickets.
Ensure smooth UI integration with existing film pages.
3. News Page Enhancements
Add additional News pages and implement a proper multi-page structure.
Fix layout issues on both desktop and mobile.
Implement CMS support for selecting a Featured News Article.
Ensure consistent typography, spacing, and grid alignment.
4. CMS Improvements
Make all News and Film Detail fields optional in the admin panel.
Ensure the front end hides empty fields automatically.
5. Bug Fixes
Issues include (but not limited to):
Incorrect fallback images appearing when none are uploaded.
Video autoplaying even when no video exists.
Misaligned UI elements across desktop and mobile.
Blue colour elements that need replacing with brand colours.
