1. The project scope is to create a simplified version of the attached Project_Map. Retain all rivers, lakes and other bodies of water. Remove all topographical shading for both the land masses and bodies of water. Make all land a single color (use the most common land color on the current map) and do the same for all bodies of water (except rivers, which can remain as they are). 2. On the new, simplified map you’ve created, I want to create the same type of content shown in the attached Sample_Map. In addition to inserting text and dots (.), I want to be able to define different shapes (regions), representing different empires, and fill those shapes with different colors. The Sample_Map is just an example, I want to create different shapes/regions than those shown. 3. Ideally this would be an interactive map where I could define the shapes and fill the associated colors myself. If that’s too challenging or time-consuming, the alternate approach would be for me to draw the shapes on a hardcopy and provide it to you, then you could create those shapes for me in the image. With the latter approach, there would be several different versions I’d need you to generate (with different sets of shapes). 4. I prefer to work in a collaborative manner, where you provide options and allow me to give feedback as we proceed toward a final product. FYI, I am located on Pacific Time. 5.
