Expected duration: 1 day or less I’m looking for a developer to help me integrate Fillout with Airtable for a simple but important workflow.
I need Fillout to pre-populate a serial code (pulled from Airtable) into a form field so that it is visible to the engineer but not editable.
Here’s the flow:
Each piece of marine equipment has a QR code.
When scanned, it takes the engineer to a maintenance landing page, unique to that serial (via a public token).
On that page, the engineer chooses Annual or Depth maintenance.
Their selection then opens a new page with the Fillout form embedded in an iFrame, with certain fields already pre-filled (e.g., the serial code).
I need help setting up this pre-fill logic and ensuring the serial code from Airtable is correctly passed through and locked (read-only) in Fillout. It’s only a small task to start with, but I’ll need ongoing help with integration and future changes as this system grows.
If you’ve worked with Fillout, Airtable, or similar database-to-form setups before, I’d be keen to hear from you. Please include any relevant experience and how you’d approach this.
