About the Project
We’re launching Arison, a cutting-edge app designed to support people living with or at risk of diabetes,prediabetes and insulin resistance. Arison combines behavioural science, nutrition, and biohacking principles to help users manage blood sugar levels, understand their body’s responses to food, and make long-term lifestyle changes.
We’re looking for a talented PR and Marketing Specialist to spearhead our UK launch campaign and build strong visibility within the diabetes community and wider health ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a PR and marketing launch strategy for the Arison Diabetes App.
Build relationships with diabetes-focused communities, online forums, influencers, and advocacy groups.
Engage and collaborate with diabetes charities, healthcare professionals, endocrinologists, and nutrition experts.
Identify partnership opportunities with insurance providers, clinics, and wellness organisations.
Write and distribute press releases, blog posts, and thought leadership content.
Manage media outreach and secure features in relevant health, tech, and lifestyle publications.
Create and coordinate engaging social media campaigns to grow brand awareness and trust.
Monitor and report on PR and marketing performance metrics (reach, engagement, press mentions, etc.).
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in PR, communications, and digital marketing—ideally within health tech, wellness, or medical apps.
Strong media contacts in the UK health and technology sectors.
Excellent communication and networking skills—especially within the diabetes or healthcare community.
Creative thinker with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with both professionals and the public.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable managing end-to-end campaigns.
Desirable
Existing connections with diabetes organisations, healthcare professionals, or patient advocacy groups.
Familiarity with NHS innovation frameworks, insurance partnerships, or public health initiatives.
Experience with influencer outreach and social media advertising.
