We are seeking a highly capable game developer (or a small team) to build our new indie project titled Brave Girl. This will be a story-driven adventure/action game, centered on a courageous young heroine navigating epic challenges, combat encounters and exploration across a rich game world.
Scope & Deliverables: Full development of core gameplay mechanics (movement, combat, enemy AI, progression) Implementation in your chosen engine (preferably Unity or Unreal Engine) Character controller and hero animations (attack, dodge, jump, special move) At least 2-3 game levels built with environment, obstacles, and enemy types Basic UI (health bar, energy/mana, pause menu) and simple audio integration Delivery of source project files + build for target platform (PC/Mac or mobile) Documentation of code structure and usage for future extensions
Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in game development (indie or commercial) using Unity or Unreal Strong coding skills (C# for Unity, C++/Blueprints for Unreal) Good understanding of gameplay loop, character controls, state machines, enemy behaviours Ability to integrate animations, physics, UI and simple VFX Self-motivated, good communicator, able to meet milestones and deliver quality work Bonus / Nice to Have: Experience in 2D or 3D art / asset creation (though not mandatory) Experience with mobile game development (iOS/Android) Experience in storytelling/cinematic sequences or narrative integration Familiarity with version control (Git) and project management tools How to apply: Please submit your proposal including: Your relevant portfolio or previous game projects Your preferred game engine and explain why Your estimated timeframe for this scope
