We’re looking for a talented brand designer / illustrator to help rebrand our company Cactus Content, a young, vibrant content creation agency based on the Gold Coast.
We create photography, videography, Shopify builds & maintenance, social media management, and email marketing strategy for a range of clients, including construction companies, electricians, flooring brands, boating companies, and eCommerce labels.
We want a bold new logo and T-shirt design that captures our creative, youthful, and digital-first energy while staying relatable to our trade and small business client base. Think modern, street-inspired, coastal-industrial aesthetic — creative but still clean and professional.
Project Scope: Logo Rebrand • Modernize our logo to reflect a clean, creative, and digital-native identity • Include full logo, icon-only mark, and stacked or simplified versions • Deliver colour palette, typography, and usage guide • Adaptable across social media, website, and video watermark use
Mascot / T-Shirt Design • Create a custom cactus character inspired by the attached reference image • Character should be fun and creative think videographer cactus holding a camera or gimbal, wearing sneakers, gloves, or trade gear • Include a back-print T-shirt design with bold typography • Include small chest logo variation for front print • Deliver vector files for screen print and digital use
Design Direction: Mood: Young • Creative • Confident • Coastal • Trade-friendly Inspiration: Retro cartoon mascots meets digital production house Colours: Deep cactus green, mustard yellow, black, sand, cream, optional aqua accent Fonts: Bold sans-serif + script or handwritten accent
Deliverables: • Primary logo + secondary variations (SVG, PNG, AI, PDF) • Mascot illustration (vector format) • T-shirt design mockups (front + back) • Colour palette and typography guide • Optional: sticker or small icon versions for socials

What We’re Looking For: • Designers experienced in illustrated branding or merch design • Strong typography & layout skills • Ability to deliver clean, scalable vector artwork • A modern, youthful aesthetic (streetwear, media agency, or surf-coastal vibe)
Budget: AUD $150 for initial logo and character concept.
Future work to continue once designer selected - Brand guidelines - Van Wrap design - concepts or ides would be great if you have experience show case your work
