Expected duration: Ongoing We’re a growing digital marketing agency helping brands across the UK elevate their online presence through performance marketing, paid social, SEO, and content creation. As we expand, we’re looking for a talented Freelance Social Media Manager to join our team and take ownership of managing multiple client accounts.
This role is ideal for someone who’s creative, organised, and confident managing client relationships, with a strong understanding of content strategy and design.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing three client social media accounts (initially), with more added as we grow. Each account will need regular content planning, creative production, and scheduling — as well as client communication and monthly sync calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and ideate engaging content aligned with each client’s goals and tone of voice. - Create or amend Canva templates with new content and visuals. - Write captions and posts optimised for each platform (mainly Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn). - Manage and schedule posts using our social media scheduling tool. - Liaise directly with clients via email and participate in monthly catch-up calls. - Occasionally create new Canva templates to refresh the creative direction.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts (agency experience preferred). Confident using Canva, with a strong eye for design and brand consistency. Excellent written English and creativity in post copywriting. Comfortable communicating with clients professionally. Organised, proactive, and reliable. Familiarity with social scheduling tools
Scope & Growth
Currently managing 3 accounts (~9–10 posts per week). As we scale, we’ll gradually assign more clients and hours to the right person. This is a long-term freelance opportunity for someone who wants to grow with us.
