Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We are a non-profit organization and have a great website that we love but the theme of the site is apparently expiring and unable to function properly for much longer (or so we've been told). We are looking for a proposal to help select a new theme, transfer our site to that theme, and enhance some of the areas on our site, specifically the events section.
We'd like to have some thoughtful proposals that: 1) recommend a new theme and why it would be good for us 2) address enhancing the following pages: >>>Homepage - we want the homepage to better highlight the services we offer >>>Events page - we want the events page to be a landing page that will feature all the topical events we host and provide a clear, fabulous looking archive of our past events >>>we'd like the membership and information page to have a chatbot with either AI or some pre-programmed answers and eventual connection to a staff person if necessary >>>Section of the proposal that would suggest updates and changes to industry standard. >>>coordination with our news site -- automatic updating of the industry and people on the move section of the news site, with our home site
The site is also coordinated with a back-end run membership program, growthzone. We only need the site to support sharing information about our organization and upcoming events similarly to what it does now.
What we like: >>We like a modern streamlined feel but we do understand that our format could use a refresh >>We like movement and interactive panels >.We like clear, bold features that would allow us to make a big impact on a new visitor with all the services we offer.
What we don't like: >>Lots of scrolling >>Difficulty finding information >>Lots of clicking to get to the page you need
