Create 2D Animated Educational Video Series (Trial + 50 Videos) – Monster Phonics
Project Description:
We are Monster Phonics, a DfE-validated, award-winning education company that creates engaging phonics resources for schools worldwide.
We’re looking for a talented 2D animator or small studio to produce a series of short educational videos that introduce letter sounds (phonemes and graphemes) using animation.
Each video will be around 20 seconds long and feature simple, colourful 2D animation aligned with our brand and teaching approach.
We’ll start with one paid trial video, and if the style and quality are a good fit, we’ll then agree a fixed batch rate for the full set of around 50 videos.
Audio: We will provide voiceover, sound direction, and brand assets
Script: Full brief and script provided for each video
Characters: Based on our existing Monster Phonics characters (we will supply artwork and guidance)
Example Concept:
The first video features Suzie Seahorse introducing the sound /s/ in an underwater scene — starting with the sound, then revealing the letter, and ending with a short surprise moment (e.g. a starfish reveal).
What We’re Looking For:
Strong 2D animation and storytelling skills
Experience creating educational or children’s content preferred
Consistent delivery and attention to brand detail
Ability to maintain quality and pace across a full video series

Fee for one 20-second trial video
