We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Shopify Front-End Developer to deliver world-class eCommerce experiences. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify storefronts while ensuring pixel-perfect design translation, clean code, and high performance. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in Shopify’s ecosystem, modern front-end technologies, and headless commerce frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—designers, product managers, and engineers—to translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions. As a senior team member, you will also mentor junior developers and lead best practices in development, performance optimization, and technical documentation. Responsibilities: Develop responsive and performant Shopify storefronts using Liquid, JavaScript, React, CSS/SASS, and modern front-end frameworks. Translate high-fidelity designs and complex business requirements into scalable solutions. Lead headless commerce projects with Hydrogen, Next.js, and React. Optimize implementations for performance, accessibility, and SEO. Work with Shopify APIs, Functions, Extensions, and custom app development. Integrate third-party systems such as CMS (Contentful), ERP (Netsuite), and subscription platforms (Recharge). Mentor and review the work of junior engineers to maintain high development standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals. Proactively identify risks and provide actionable solutions. Contribute to improving internal development processes, tools, and documentation.
Requirements: 3–5 years of professional experience in Shopify development. Senior-level expertise in Liquid, JavaScript, React, CSS, GraphQL, REST, and Git. Strong understanding of Shopify themes, APIs, apps, functions, and extensions. Experience with JIRA/Confluence or other task management systems. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on time. Strong communication skills, with experience in writing technical documentation and explaining solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Deep knowledge of web performance, accessibility, API handling, design systems, and eCommerce user behavior. Experience mentoring and leading other developers.
