I need an experienced Shopify developer to fix a product page issue in my custom Shopify theme.
The problem: when customers select different product variants (sizes or packs), the price does not update dynamically.
I’ve already identified that there’s a JavaScript error — ajaxCart is not defined — which appears in the console. The site is using a custom Timber-based theme with a modified product-extended.liquid and ajax-cart.js.
Tasks required:
Diagnose and fix the variant price update issue
Ensure ajaxCart is properly initialised and compatible with Shopify’s option_selection.js
Verify that selectCallback is working and dynamically updates price, compare-at price, and button states
Test across desktop and mobile to confirm smooth variant selection
Access will be provided via a collaborator request. I’ll provide screenshots and relevant Liquid/JS files.
Looking for someone with proven Shopify theme experience — not just app setup — ideally, who understands AJAX and jQuery interactions in Shopify themes.
