We are looking to grow to 150 which is our maximum size we will allow
We produce 5-7 hours of video content every week.
We have over 400 hours already recorded
...And we have zeor external video visabilty.
Everything we have done has been word of mouth or on DM's
We would like to fix that.....
We want someone to join our team long term.
To work with our content to produce shorts and 5-20m cuts of our calls.
We have $500-$900 USD per month as a budget.
WHO DO WE WANT...
It doesnt matter where you live,
or how old you are.
But what does matter is...
1. COMMUNICATION
You must be able to easily speak, read and understand English so we can communicate easily and of course so you can understand our content.
2. BE AN "A" PLAYER.
Some people are A players. Some people are B players. If this is new, look up. Most A players know if they are an A player or not. An A player gets things done, they help and support, offer suggestions, want to grow themselves and whom they work for. We don't want someone who just wants "a job". It's very clear early on if someone is an A player or if someone just wants a job. If you read this and think "it's me" then you are likely a fit.
3. YOU LIVE FOR EDITING.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you edit videos, learn better ways to edit videos? Or do you do something else? If you mess around with videos, editing etc in your spare time, then you are likely a fit.
NOTE
Even though I've told you what we are looking for in a person, it's VERY clear to us early on if you really are these things. We work quickly and we work to high standards. We are small team (5 of us) so its obvious if you are an A player who spends there time improving their skills. So if you know you are not this type, there is no point applying.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Everything video. You will be 100% responsible for making all content. For guiding us to produce and record better quality.
HOW CAN I EARN MORE FROM THIS ROLE?
Great question, easy answer = Growth.
We don't do any external social videos now. So anything we do will have some traction. But if the videos become a serious lead gen for us, then we will do more, you can double your hours and income and if you show real signs of team then we will also look to provide a profit split with you if you show that you can understand what videos are performing and do more of them to enhance the channel.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING WITH?
The majority of our old calls are on Zoom. Sometimes we also recorded HD locally, and sometimes we recorded audio locally. All our calls are structured in tables with direct links to folders per call containing all the assets we have for that call including transcripts with time stamps. We are starting to use riverside sometimes. We have podcasts, interviews, lots of group masterminds and we have presentations. Most our content is 2 hours long.
PERFECTION
We are not looking for perfect. Speed is our friend here. But at the same time we are not looking for sloppy work. It needs to be good...enough. We accept that the recrodings we have on zoom are not in HD and the audio quality is what it is. So therefor there are limits in what kind of quality can be created. But you can only work with what you have. So the output will never be "perfect" but progress is what we are looking for.
AI USE
We fully expect you to use AI. We have large subscriptions to Opus and Descript already. We are 100% pro the use of AI when it comes to parsing through footage, creating shorts etc etc. So long as the end result has some continuity.
