We would like to install a flexible product comparison section to our shopify store.
By flexible, I mean that the section default displays the current page product as the first product of the section and products selected from one preselected collection, ideally via a pop up can be selected to be added to the comparison section. All products displaying content from selected product metafields.
More features include;
Shorten product titles to first 4 words (for display purposes, so the title is not too long) Addition of view product button for products that have been selected to the section to view the product page Addition of 'current' label for the first preselected product of the section Of course, product price, both in the pop up selector and in the comparison section.
Any other features you may think will assist in user engagement and overall look. Such as enlarge on hover and/or highlight row on hover.
I have attached an example.
We see this feature as extremely important for our store for customer interaction and ultimately customer conversions. We would like the section to be as state of the art as possible and use the template across our store for most of our other collections.
