We are a fast-growing short-term let company (Airbnb-style) seeking a business developer to help grow our portfolio by reaching out to companies seeking corporate short-term lets and property owners interested in guaranteed rent agreements. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate, property management, or short-term lets and a strong ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify potential corporate clients needing short-term lets or contractual lets for employees or business use.
Property Owner Outreach: Reach out to property owners (landlords) who may be interested in guaranteed rent schemes or corporate lettings, and explain the benefits of partnering with us.
Negotiation & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with property owners, companies, and third-party agencies. Handle initial negotiations for guaranteed rent agreements.
Marketing & Outreach: Develop and implement outreach strategies, including cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to property owners, real estate agents, and companies.
CRM & Follow-Up: Maintain and update a CRM system to track leads, interactions, and follow-up tasks.
Reporting: Provide regular updates on outreach efforts, lead generation progress, and potential deals in the pipeline.
Skills Required:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or real estate, with a focus on property lettings (short-term or long-term).
Experience working with landlords, property managers, or corporate clients.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to craft compelling outreach emails and sales pitches for both property owners and corporate clients.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and lead tracking systems.
Desired Experience:
Previous experience working with guaranteed rent schemes, property management, or in the short-term rental industry (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo).
Experience working with corporate clients (e.g., large companies needing employee accommodation).
