We seek an experienced developer to design and build the minimum viable product for an innovative Web3 gaming platform. The selected candidate will create a robust React application integrated with Ethereum smart contracts using Solidity for non-fungible tokens representing in-game assets. Smart contracts will facilitate the minting, burning, and transferring of game items according to a custom ERC standard as well as implement royalty payments.
The front-end application will drive the core gameplay experience and interact seamlessly with blockchain technology via an intuitive wallet authentication process. A key feature is an in-game non-fungible token marketplace to list, purchase, and sell digital gaming collectibles with both fixed price and timed auction functionality. Back-end services in Node.js and MongoDB will power off-chain data processing, asynchronous job handling, and analytics reporting.
Quality assurance is paramount, as the developer will implement thorough unit and integration tests achieving over 80% coverage and follow security best practices from OpenZeppelin. Source code will be cleanly structured, formatted and documented to pass audit standards. Regular demos held via video conference will showcase progress towards milestones, culminating in a production-ready minimum viable product deployed on public testnets.
