Buildbite is the #1 field management app for contractors who value simplicity. We help small and mid-sized construction businesses communicate, document, and report—from the field to the office—in one easy-to-use app. We’re looking for a part-time freelance content creator to help us grow our social presence and build awareness with construction professionals across platforms like Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook. If you love creating short-form, informative, and engaging content—and you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty learning about the trades—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do ● Create engaging social media content (Reels, carousels, Stories, static posts) tailored to the construction space ● Write clear, relatable captions that resonate with small business owners, contractors, and field crews ● Repurpose app screenshots, customer photos, and testimonials into scroll-stopping posts ● Keep tabs on trends in the field service, SaaS, and construction industries ● Work with our team to brainstorm content tied to product updates, seasonal themes, and customer wins ● Track performance and share insights to help refine our content and paid strategy
You Should Have ● 2+ years of experience creating content for Instagram and Facebook (experience with SaaS or construction is a bonus) ● Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt to a brand voice that’s clear, helpful, and a little witty ● A good eye for design, layout, and editing—especially for Reels and carousels ● A collaborative attitude, fast turnaround times, and a sense of ownership ● Bonus: Familiarity with TikTok and/or LinkedIn content formats ● Bonus: Based in the Nordics or open to occasional in-person shoots (not required)
