Expected duration: less than 1 week We run a serviced accommodation business (short-stay rentals for contractors and families) with 2 properties. Our accountant has already updated Xero based on spreadsheets we provided, so we don’t need someone to take over bookkeeping or prepare accounts — that is already handled.
What we need is hands-on support and tuition to:
- Walk through how our accountant has set up Xero - Review that it matches our spreadsheet and how our business operates (management fees, landlord payments, property costs, etc.) - Provide 1-to-1 training via video call with screen sharing so I can see exactly where things are in Xero and how to manage them - Give me confidence to check things myself going forward
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Xero (must be confident with Balance Sheet and P&L allocations) - Understanding of serviced accommodation / property management is ideal - Comfortable providing clear explanations and tuition over video calls - Good communicator (I need knowledge transfer, not just data entry)
Project type:
- One-off short project: ~2–4 hours of tuition/support across 1–2 calls - Possibility of occasional future support, but this is training-focused
