We are a UK luggage manufacturer (Aerolite) with production in China. We have developed a new expandable cabin case feature (an internal zip expander located below the main body zip). We are preparing to file a patent for this innovation and require professional patent-style technical drawings to include with the application.
What We Need:
Create clear, line-based technical drawings (black & white) suitable for a patent application.
Show the luggage from different angles (front, side, top, perspective).
Include exploded views and/or sectional views to demonstrate how the expandable zip mechanism works.
Drawings must comply with the standards required by major patent offices (UKIPO, EPO, USPTO, WIPO).
Requirements:
Experience creating patent drawings or technical illustrations.
Strong skills in CAD or technical illustration software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Illustrator, etc.).
Understanding of patent office guidelines for drawings (line thickness, shading, no color, etc.).
Ability to work from product photos, sketches, or CAD models.
What We Provide:
Photos of the prototype luggage.
Sketches and notes explaining how the expandable zip mechanism works.
Reference images of similar luggage products for context.
Deliverables:
6–10 technical drawings showing different views and details of the product.
Final files in vector / high-resolution formats (PDF, TIFF, or AI).
Budget: Please quote your price for a complete set of drawings. We are open to fixed price or hourly rates depending on experience.
