Hi there, I’m building a Christian event listing and ticketing platform for the UK, similar in functionality and layout to Eventbrite, but exclusively for faith-based events. My WordPress website is already set up with hosting, and I’ve purchased the WP Event Manager plugin bundle.
I need an experienced WordPress developer who can:
• Install and fully configure the WP Event Manager plugin (I’ve purchased the Pro bundle) • Import and customize the Insighter demo layout from WP Event Manager • Set up front-end event submission for external organisers • Enable ticket sales, including integration with Stripe • Customise the site to match my brand theme (Purple, White, Black, and hints of Yellow) • Add an event calendar view with filters by category, location, etc. • Configure automated email confirmations and user registration • Ensure mobile responsiveness and fast page loading • Add a basic privacy policy and GDPR-compliant opt-ins • Optional: assist with Elementor homepage design
The ideal candidate should have • Proven experience with WordPress event websites • Familiarity with WP Event Manager plugin • Comfortable with Elementor (or can provide an alternative builder) • Ability to replicate site structure/functionality similar to www.eventbrite.co.uk • Fluent English communication
I would like this project completed within 5-10 days, with room for light revisions after testing as the site is ready to be configured
