We are looking for a camera operator with own kit. This is a stylised 35-minute DJ performance video, shot in a closed, empty club to create an atmospheric and visually dynamic promo piece. The shoot will focus on capturing the energy and rhythm of the set through handheld and moving shots, using programmed club lighting where possible. The final video will be used across social media, booking platforms, and pitch materials to support the DJ's growing presence. Footage will need to be delivered in 4K and suitable for a DCP output, allowing flexibility for both online and potential theatrical screenings. In addition to covering travel expenses, we'll provide lunch (or breakfast depending on access time), full credit in the final video, and access to the finished 4K promo for personal reels or portfolios. This is a collaborative, creative shoot with the potential for future work on similar music content. Ideally, we're looking to work with Blackmagic cameras or similar 10-bit colour setups, as the shoot involves low-light conditions and fast moving electronic lighting. The aim is to achieve a polished, clean look with high-quality output, 4K RAW is preferred, but flexibility is possible. Any additional lenses or gear (e.g., gimbals, primes, diffusion) are a welcome bonus. The shoot will focus on a single subject (the DJ), so thoughtful camera movement, framing, and working within a 180-degree motion arc will be essential to keep the visuals engaging.
