Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented freelance bookkeeper or accountant to assist with preparing monthly returns using data from our Unity Trust Bank account.
The role involves accessing the account, reviewing bank transactions, and compiling accurate financial summaries to support timely reporting and compliance, particularly within a charity or nonprofit setting.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile and categorize all transactions (income, expenses, transfers)
Prepare monthly or quarterly returns in Excel or a specified format
Identify and flag any discrepancies or missing information
Maintain well-organized digital records
Optionally prepare summary reports for trustees or accountants
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (charity or nonprofit experience preferred)
Familiarity with Unity Trust Bank or similar online banking systems
