Currently, some database queries designed to retrieve large volumes of data are experiencing inconsistent performance issues. Queries that previously completed within 1 second are intermittently stalling and taking an excessive amount of time to return results. Even with no user load, lightweight queries will randomly hang and require manual cancellation from the database statement pool. The current database connection implementation or query design may be leading to bottlenecks under certain conditions. An expert Reactives Spring developer is needed to analyze the existing codebase and API calls, identify potential points of failure or inefficiencies, and implement solutions such optimize database utilization and handling of long-running queries.
