We are developing an intelligent system that joins Microsoft Teams meetings, transcribes spoken content, and automatically generates user stories in Azure DevOps, based on the discussions captured — all securely, with proper authorization, and in full compliance with the policies of the involved platforms.
System Components:
Microsoft Teams Bot: Built using Microsoft Bot Framework and Microsoft Graph API, the bot joins scheduled Teams meetings and captures real-time audio, with the necessary permissions to access media streams in accordance with Microsoft’s guidelines.
Speech-to-Text Service: Converts the audio into text with speaker identification. Suggested providers include Google Speech-to-Text, Rev.ai, or AssemblyAI.
AI Module (LLM): Uses models like GPT-4 or Gemini to process the transcript, identify requirements, decisions, and action items discussed, and convert them into user stories in the format: “As a [type of user], I want [feature] so that [benefit].”
Azure DevOps Integration: The system connects to the official Azure DevOps REST API and, through secure authentication and proper permissions, performs automated creation of user stories within specified projects. The process is fully traceable, auditable, and adheres to Microsoft’s API usage standards.
Overall Workflow:
The user invites the bot to the Teams meeting.
Audio is transcribed and processed.
User stories are automatically generated.
The system publishes the stories directly to Azure DevOps using authorized user credentials.
Important Notes:
The system does not attempt to bypass any platform policies, authentication procedures, or account controls.
All automated actions are performed within the limits of publicly documented APIs, under the client’s supervision and authorization.
An optional configuration interface can be included to manage project selection, story formatting, and publishing rules.
