Job Summary We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented professional to manage the preparation, reconciliation, and submission of returns for our Unity Trust Bank account. This role requires a strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes, financial compliance, and accurate record-keeping. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our financial operations remain timely, transparent, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit regular Unity Trust account returns in accordance with internal deadlines and compliance requirements
Reconcile all transactions related to the Unity Trust account, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Monitor incoming and outgoing payments and resolve discrepancies promptly
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for audit and reporting purposes
Collaborate with finance, payroll, or compliance teams to ensure alignment and timely reporting
Liaise with Unity Trust Bank and internal stakeholders to resolve issues or clarify transactions
Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements, especially regarding client money (if applicable)
Support internal audits and financial reporting related to Unity Trust account activity
Requirements Previous experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounts administration
Strong working knowledge of bank reconciliation processes
Familiarity with Unity Trust Bank systems and reporting (preferred)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Excel
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial data with discretion
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable Qualifications AAT qualification or equivalent experience
Experience working in regulated sectors such as healthcare, legal, or recruitment
Understanding of client money regulations and best practices
