We are looking to establish a new line of casual and active wear for women. To that end, we require the expertise of a talented fashion designer to help us bring our vision to life. The ideal candidate will have experience producing sketches and concept designs that embody comfort, style and versatility.
The initial contract would involve developing an initial collection of ten pieces including tops, bottoms and outdoor layers. The style direction we envision emphasizes breathability, flexibility of movement and designs that flatter the female form. Prints and patterns should feel fresh yet timeless. Silhouettes should skirt the line between relaxed and form fitting. Fabric choices will prioritize performance fabrics like cotton, linen and technical blends.
In addition to detailed sketches exhibiting the front, back and side views of each item, we ask the designer provide fabric swatches where appropriate and notes on suggested production methods. A mood board encapsulating the aesthetic and feel of the line should also be submitted. The goal is to select 5-7 designs from the initial concepts torefine into technical packs for manufacturing.
The selected designer must have 3-5 years experience inwomen's active and casual apparel design.A bachelor's degree in fashion design or relatd field is preferred.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suitesoftware,particularly Illustrator,isnecessary for this project.Excellentresearch,visualization and presentation skills are also required.The designer
