Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We are seeking an experienced mobile app developer or agency to design, develop, and publish a fun, educational, and devotional app titled “Divine Play – Hindu Mythology for Kids.”
The app will engage children aged 3 to 10 by blending interactive play, cultural learning, and prayerful experiences through Hindu mythology. It should be visually rich, audio-guided, and completely child-safe, designed specifically for preschoolers and early learners.
This will be a cross-platform app (Android + iOS) and must be fully compliant with Google Play Store and Apple App Store guidelines for apps targeting the 3–5 age category.
Key Objectives : Develop a colorful, interactive app that introduces Hindu mythology to children.
Ensure intuitive UI/UX designed for young users, with minimal text and voice guidance.
Implement multiple mini-games, devotional tools, and Sanskrit learning elements.
Host and publish the app on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Core Features – Phase 1: Jigsaw Puzzles: Mythology-themed puzzles with 4 levels of difficulty.
Colour Me: Tap-to-fill and free-draw coloring pages with deity outlines.
Tic-Tac-Toe: Hindu-themed icons and divine visuals.
Sloka Repetition: Repeat-after-me mantra learning with animated deity visuals.
Core Features – Phase 2: Baby Bhajan: Toddler-friendly bhajans with loop & timer features.
Offer Prasad: Drag-and-drop prasad items to gods and animals (vahanas).
Pets of Gods: Matching memory game linking deities and their vehicles.
Learning & Engagement : Mascot guide (e.g., Little Hanuman) for navigation and encouragement.
Sanskrit Word of the Day feature.
Mythological context via audio explanations.
Streak badges, daily devotionals, and reward system.
Ideal Candidate/Team Should Have: Demonstrated experience building cross-platform mobile apps.
Strong portfolio of educational or children's apps.
Expertise in publishing apps to both Google Play and Apple App Store.
Understanding of child-safe UX, COPPA-compliant flows (or local equivalents).
Strong grasp of Indian cultural themes, or openness to creative briefings.
Availability for ongoing updates and support post-launch (optional).
Deliverables: Fully functional mobile app for Android and iOS.
Store-ready builds with icons, screenshots, and metadata.
Source code and developer handover.
Submission and publishing on both app stores.
