UX best photo We are seeking an experienced graphic designer to design mobile application icons and interface graphics for our new photo sharing start-up. The core idea of the app is to allow users to seamlessly capture and organize their photos and share curated collections with friends and family. As such, the visual language of the app needs to portray simplicity, creativity and community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating iconic app icons for both iOS and Android. In addition to designing launch screen graphics and onboarding illustrations, you will also design various interface elements like buttons, tabs and navigation menus. The visuals need to have a clean and minimal aesthetic while effectively conveying their purpose through subtle use of shapes, colors and typography. Ease of use for the target audience of 18-35 year olds should be the guiding principle.
Knowledge of latest design trends in mobile applications as well as strong graphic design fundamentals are essential. You should have proven working experience in designing interfaces for both iOS and Android platforms. Experience designing for mobile apps focused on photo/video would be preferred. Ability to receive feedback and incorporate changes smoothly into the design process is important. We are looking for designers with a portfolio demonstrating their skills in creating clean, intuitive and aesthetically appealing visual identities and interfaces for mobile platforms.
