The development of a robust and user-friendly web platform is required for the online sale of passenger transportation tickets. The platform must be accessible and offer an excellent user experience on both desktop and mobile devices (responsive design).
Key Features: - Intuitive selection of origin, destination, date, and time of travel. - View and select available seats on transportation. - Secure and efficient ticket purchasing process. - Integration with multiple electronic payment methods, including credit and debit cards, and PayPal. - Option for the user to indicate if they are traveling with a pet. - Implementation of logic to apply discounts to senior citizen tickets for military, police, and National Guard personnel. - Must have a data backup system. - Additionally, it must display the option to rent private transportation with a driver, and I must be able to disable ticket sales on the dates the transportation is rented. - Must have an SSL certificate. - Online billing system for clients.
It is essential that the platform be fast, reliable, and minimize errors to avoid operational losses. A clean user interface (UI) and a fluid user experience (UX) are valued.
