Expected duration: Ongoing Tapton Capital is a boutique property finance brokerage based in the City of London. We arrange finance for property investors, developers, and landlords across the UK. As we grow, we're looking for a confident and motivated Business Development Executive based in South Africa to help us drive new enquiries, build relationships, and support the ongoing growth of our client base.
We're looking for someone with a great telephone manner, some sales or business development experience, and a proactive attitude. Working remotely, you’ll play a vital role in expanding our reach and generating qualified leads for our UK-based team of brokers
Your responsibilities will include: • Making 50+ outbound calls per day to existing, lapsed, and prospective clients from our CRM • Sending follow-up emails and introductory messages to potential clients • Responding to inbound email and LinkedIn enquiries professionally and promptly • Creating and managing client follow-up lists to track engagement • Qualifying leads and booking appointments for senior brokers • Sharing information about our company, services, and competitive finance options • Maintaining accurate records of outreach and lead progress • Supporting light admin or research tasks as needed (e.g. gathering property info, logging notes) • Contributing ideas to improve outreach strategy, scripts, and messaging
What We’re Looking For • Strong, clear, and confident telephone manner • Previous experience in business development, telesales, or customer service • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative • Strong written English and email communication skills • Able to commit to 3–5 days per week during UK business hours • Organised, consistent, and good at following up • Willingness to learn basic property finance product knowledge (training provided) • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace
Bonus (Not Essential): • Experience working with UK-based companies • Familiarity with property, finance, or investment sectors • Experience using CRMs or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
