Expected duration: 1 - 6 months Our customer support portal is in need of a redesign as we transition to a new open-source platform. The existing system relies on proprietary software that no longer meets our needs. The new portal must retain core functionality while optimizing the user experience across devices. Transaction records and support tickets hold significant data that must transfer cleanly between databases to ensure stability and uptime remain top priorities.
With documentation outlining existing and envisioned designs provided, qualified designers should submit proposals detailing their approach and projected timeline. Proficiency with the new IT Flow platform or comparable options is preferable but not required. A portfolio highlighting clean code and user-centered solutions that launch intuitively is encouraged. The project timeline is flexible but the new portal should be completed within six months to minimize disruptions for support agents and customers.
We seek a strategic design partner to help fully transition to the new system. In addition to interface creation, strong communication and translation of technical specifications into an intuitive experience for diverse end users will be valued. Comprehensive proposals reflective of project scope from designers with experience creating modern, responsive portals are encouraged.
Budget is flexible for the right candidate capable of this important work. Priority will be given to designers demonstrating expert knowledge of user experience practices, accessibility standards, and migrating data between database systems.
We may then work with the same person if they have programming knowledge to build us integrations for other tools we plan to use as we move away from our existing contracts and supplier.
