I am seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of IT infrastructure deployment for a large-scale, high-value development in the GCC. This freelance role requires a professional who has successfully overseen complex IT operations from inception to delivery, including procurement, implementation, and operational handover.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience managing all layers of IT infrastructure: from structured cabling and passive networks to active network components, security systems, Microsoft 365 environments, and cloud integration. A deep understanding of technical deliverables and the ability to coordinate with engineering, construction, and vendor teams is essential.
Key responsibilities include creating and managing project plans, overseeing procurement schedules, ensuring timely deployment of systems, managing risks, and maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders. The PM must also be adept at working across multidisciplinary teams and aligning IT objectives with overall project milestones.
This role demands strong organizational skills, vendor management expertise, and a hands-on approach to quality assurance and testing. The successful candidate will serve as the single point of accountability for the IT infrastructure scope, ensuring timely and seamless delivery.
Experience in large commercial or government-backed infrastructure projects is preferred. PMP or Prince2 certification is an advantage.
