Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer to rework our existing website – accessandsafetystore.com – while preserving the existing look, feel, branding, and content. The new build should be done using Elementor and WooCommerce, with a strong focus on performance optimization and minimal plugin use.
Objectives:
Recreate the current site design exactly as it appears, within our brand guidelines. Use Elementor for page building (no other page builders). Rebuild the shop using WooCommerce, retaining all current product information and categories. Reduce plugin reliance to the absolute minimum. Significantly improve site speed and performance metrics. Maintain all existing content, structure, layout, navigation, and branding.
Scope of Work:
Analyze the current site to document and replicate the exact UI/UX as far as possible. Export/import or recreate all products in WooCommerce using the same SKUs, images, descriptions, categories, and tags. Recreate all existing pages in Elementor (no custom-coded themes or templates unless justified for speed). Optimize loading speeds across all devices using best practices in caching, compression, clean code, and image optimization. Ensure full mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility. Test and debug thoroughly before final handover. Provide a brief handover document or recorded video to explain key site structures.
Technical Requirements:
WordPress + WooCommerce Elementor (Pro license provided if required) Minimal and essential plugins only (please justify any plugins used) Fast, clean, and SEO-friendly code and optimised Performance scores of 90+ on PageSpeed Insights (Desktop and Mobile)
