Background: we have an existing site: cambridgelawstudio.co.uk the site is built using a bespoke theme and Elementor Pro this project is to focus only on LearnDash as an LMS and we are not looking at any other updates such as aesthetics or other functionalities on the site
Project goal: Create an LMS (learning management system) using LearnDash
Core objectives: 1. Tutors/Teachers/Instructors can sign up to be approved onto the platform; can upload their own course material and manage their own calendar and payment rates.
2. Students to be able to search for a suitable approved Tutor/Teacher/Instructor on the platform; check the tutor’s availability on their calendar and book in a one to one lesson with them.
Core functionalities to include: - tutor (instructor) registration option (tutors are vetted prior to be given access to the platform)
- 8 x courses for site Visitor to be able to search with results listing tutors that provide that course - tutors can provide more than one course
- tutors that pass the vetting process, become listed tutors and create their own calendar and course materials - possibly payment options
- students choose tutors and interact directly with them
- additional considerations to include but not limited to, any payment gateway options
Additional: - a DEVELOPMENT site will be used BUT no dashboard access will be provided prior to awarding the project
- LearnDash and Elementor Pro licenses will be in place
- the current developer who supports the site will be available to answer any questions
