Research New Statistics (Approx. 100):
Identify relevant, credible, and preferably recent (ideally within the last 1-3 years, unless historical context is needed) statistics related to the subject matter of each of the 34 topics.
Focus on reputable sources (e.g., established cybersecurity firms, government agencies like FTC/FBI/CISA, academic research, major tech news outlets citing primary sources).
Provide the new statistic, the source, the year, and a direct link or clear reference.
Distribute these new statistics logically and relatively evenly across the 34 topics.
Deliverables:
A spreadsheet or organized document (e.g., Google Sheet, Word Doc) containing:
The original list of 224 statistics.
For each original stat: Verification status (Verified, Discrepancy Found, Unable to Verify), the correct statistic if a discrepancy was found, the source link/reference, and any relevant notes.
A list of the ~100 new statistics, clearly formatted with the statistic itself, the source, the year, the link/reference, and the topic it relates to.
