We are seeking an intermediate-level Gross Margin Improvement Specialist who can identify, execute, and deliver cost reduction and margin optimization across product, fulfillment, and operational inputs.
Immediate mission: -Audit current Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Gross Margins by SKU/category. -Identify top 3–5 fastest paths to margin improvement: supplier renegotiations, SKU repricing, bundling strategies, packaging cost reductions. -Implement real changes that move gross margin up 2–5% inside 60–90 days. -Build basic tracking dashboards to monitor ongoing COGS/margin improvements.
Ideal Candidate Must Have: -Proven track record of margin improvement (real before/after P&L or SKU proof). -Supplier negotiation expertise (pricing, minimum order quantities, freight, terms). -Strong financial understanding of SKU-level margin drivers. -Ability to propose quick-win actions without needing full “strategic rebuilds.” -Shopify/QuickBooks familiarity is a plus.
