I have a Shopify store. Tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads, and others (which I have successfully added/integrated) will no longer be able to track certain checkout events in the same way as before. These settings will need to be adapted using Shopify’s new APIs and methods in order to continue collecting data properly. The tools themselves won’t change. What’s required is an entirely new way of implementing these tools in the online store when it is built on Shopify.
