We are looking to commission an experienced graphic designer to create attention-grabbing thumbnail designs for our YouTube channel. The channel focuses on reviewing the latest smartphones, laptops and other consumer tech products. The target audience for our channel is mainstream technology enthusiasts between the ages of 18-35. The thumbnails need to be eye-catching while accurately representing the topic of each video. Creativity and flair are important to draw viewers in, however the core information about the product or review covered in each video must be instantly recognizable at a glance. Some examples of styles that have worked well for other tech reviewers include featuring the product prominently alongside intriguing text and impactful color palettes. Humor and meme-style references can also perform well if implemented tastefully. Around 10 initial thumbnail designs are required across a variety of video topics such as smartphone camera tests, laptop reviews and comparisons of the latest smart watches. The successful applicant must have extensive experience creating thumbnail images for YouTube as well as a strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and abilities. Proficiency with image editing software is essential. We appreciate bold, stylish work that will stop viewers from scrolling and inspire them to click play.
