We are looking to develop an engaging content carousel for our website's home page. The carousel should showcase between 4-6 featured content items in an automated rotating manner similar to top publisher sites. Each slide needs to have an image, headline and brief excerpt along with next/previous buttons. On click of the content thumbnail, the user should be directed to the full article page.
The developed carousel must be fully responsive, working perfectly across all modern desktop and mobile browsers. It is important that the transition between slides is smooth without any janks or delays. Speed and page load time should also be optimized. We want the carousel design to complement our existing website styles and would need the developer to integrate it with our theme colors and formatting.
The successful developer will be required to hand over clean and document code along with a guide on how our in-house team can easily manage and update the carousel content going forward. The slides content and configuration should also be customizable via backend without any coding. The developer should have strong experience building similar premium quality carousels for top industry websites. We are looking for a quick turnaround within 10 days of project assignment. The developer will be evaluated based on design, functionality, performance and code quality.
