Description: |
We’re Monkee-Boy—a digital strategy and execution company built on thoughtfulness, collaboration, and a deep respect for doing things right.
For over two decades, we’ve helped organizations solve the web—one strategic step at a time. We blend curiosity with experience, pragmatism with optimism, and execution with humility. Our clients count on us not just for clean code or beautiful design but for the care, clarity, and consistency we bring to every engagement.
This role may be behind the scenes, but your impact won’t be. You’ll help support the long-term success of the clients who trust us—and your consistency, care, and eye for detail will be a big part of that. We’re not looking for a unicorn. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented WordPress pro who thrives in the background—tweaking, updating, troubleshooting, and making life easier for the team and our clients.
If you love working across different WordPress setups, solving little issues before they become big ones, and updating content without breaking a single pixel—we’d love to meet you.
Your Mission
Your job is to make small changes feel big. In your first 90 days, you’ll get familiar with our tech stack (not all our clients use the same WordPress instance), support style, and content update flow. You’ll jump into existing client sites—some built by us, some not—and keep things up to date, optimized, and on brand. You’ll be trusted to work independently but always supported by a friendly, communicative team that respects your expertise.
This is not a development role. You won’t be building custom themes or heavy integrations. This is WordPress support and maintenance done right: content updates, plugin checks, simple fixes, and site health support. Our preferred WordPress foundation, and the one we use for our clients, is the Astra Pro Theme and Site Builder with Spectra Pro blocks.
Tasks are identified + assigned weekly in our project management tool, ClickUp.
You don't push buttons just to see what happens. You understand how WordPress works, can anticipate the outcome of a change, and know when to slow down and check before making a move. |
