This is not a design or rebuild job — it’s a focused task to diagnose and fix an issue affecting our LMS setup. The issue: Some students lose access to past assignment submissions, especially when a payment fails or their subscription lapses. The data might not be deleted — it could be a permissions or plugin conflict issue.

WordPress on a staging environment (you’ll have full admin access)
What I need from you: Check whether assignment files are deleted or just hidden
Determine if loss of access is triggered by payment status, user roles, plugin conflict, or caching
Use tools like Query Monitor or error logs if needed
Provide a clear explanation of what’s going wrong and suggest a fix (not just guesswork or general coding advice)

You must work only on the staging site (no live site access needed for this stage)
