In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging, high-impact podcast clips designed to stop the scroll and maximize audience retention.
Your edits should have the potential for virality but in a way that suits a business podcast.
This means the pacing and style should be engaging yet professional—less high-energy, click-baity edits and more refined storytelling.
Captions alone won’t be enough; we want strategic use of b-roll, sound design, and music to enhance the clip.
The Ask - Create (1) ~30-45 second highlight clip from a full podcast episode. - You’d be responsible for: - Identifying a key moment from the podcast that works as a standalone short-form clip—something that will spark conversation - Then add: music, sound design, transitions, jump cuts, (light) camera movement, zoom ins/outs, text animations, (light) motion graphics to create a dynamic and engaging clip
What We’re Looking For - A strong ability to tell a compelling story through video while grabbing and holding the viewer’s attention in a way that fits a business podcast—engaging but not overly flashy - The edit should feel polished, dynamic, and intentional, with a focus on pacing, music, and sound design - Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (required) - Intermediate motion graphics skills (After Effects) - CapCut or other software is acceptable for captioning, but not for core editing - The ability to work quickly and handle tight deadlines (~24-hour turnaround times) - Last and maybe most important, your ability to do similar edits to the references shared above
Don’t Apply If - You can’t edit like the short-form references (linked above) - Your content would blend in on TikTok or YouTube. Generic won’t cut it here - Your portfolio is full of Hormozi captions, loud ka-ching sound effects, whooshes, etc.
