Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Level Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our growing company. This is a remote role where your primary focus will be on managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, transaction categorization, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role will initially start at a Junior level and evolve as you take on more responsibilities, showcasing your expertise. If you have experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), a strong background in bookkeeping, and a passion for maintaining financial order, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, bill entry, and customer communications regarding open invoices and chargeback disputes.
Ensure the accurate categorization of all transactions in QBO, including inventory adjustments.
Collaborate with retailers, customers, and the sales team to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any disputes or discrepancies.
Work closely with the purchasing team to verify financial transactions.
Set up and maintain customer ACH information and ensure accounts are reconciled.
Perform audits on accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory.
Assist in the upkeep of financial records and ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
Qualifications:
CPA
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on accounts payable and receivable.
At least 3-5 years of experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Strong proficiency in QBO and transaction categorization.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively via email, Google Chat, and WhatsApp.
Familiarity with Asana is a plus.
Must be able to provide references from at least 2 US-based employers.
Remote experience required
Should be available from 9 am-5 pm EST
